Does Your Website Convert Leads?

Think of your website as a lead generation machine.  Today, online searching/discovery is when the majority of purchase decisions are made.  When a potential customer clicks on your website, you have 7 seconds to make an impression and convert the lead.  If your website doesn’t answer the 4 fundamental questions below about your business, you’ll lose the opportunity to convert the lead…they will bounce.

1.  Who We Are.

2.  What We Do.

3. Why Us?

4.  Why Us Now? (Call to Action)

Sounds Simple….actually there is a lot of thought and differentiation study that should go into the content on your website.  What makes your brand special?  What is your differentiator?

Before you spend your first marketing dollar on digital media, here are a few questions to ask yourself about your company’s website:

Is your website cluttered?

Does your website have enough copy?

Is there a conversion path? (phone, email contact, social media connection, form submission, etc)

Do you have a call to action?

Is your value proposition clearly stated?

Is you design professional and updated?

Is your contact form short and sweet?

Is there a mobile version of your website?

Are you tracking lead conversions?

Are you using google analytics?

Are you updating your website to reflect your other marketing and advertising?

The typical life of a website today is about 3 years.  Are you keeping up or losing leads?
