Aerial drone video footage has become an awesome tool for advertising and marketing! Drone video footage not only allows you to tell your company’s story better, but you can literally take your potential customers on a ride. Below is a short clip we recently shot for Six Winter’s Farm in Lexington, KY. Six Winter’s wanted to advertise available stable space for top quality performance horses. As you can imagine, one of the main desires of riders renting stables is open space, terrific paddocks and a nice arena. It would be near impossible to capture the 500+ plus acres at a farm this size with regular ground-view video footage. However, with our professional drone, we were able to capture a short flyover and high visuals and even finished with a simulated leap over a horse jump in the arena. The finished footage was edited together for a short video utilized on their social media campaigns and facebook page.
Drone footage is much more cost-efficient than the old days of hiring a plane or helicopter to get aerial video and pictures. With this new affordability, aerial footage, photos and/or fly throughs are available to any company or person wanting to get that “signature shot” and high-end look.
If you decide to hire a professional to get footage, there are some key elements you’ll want to check before committing. These include: Has the company registered their drone for commercial use, video quality, previous work, detail of what exactly you will receive as a finished product (X amount of photos, X minute video).
